High-Quality Pictures With The Nikon D80
I guess there is hardly any person who doesn’t want to have a great photo of the places he/she visits.
Today almost everyone has at least one camera at home. But not all cameras provide high-quality images. And that fact, I am sure, irritates many of you. To avoid such annoyances, read below about the Nikon D80 DSLR camera.
I myself got acquainted with it about a year ago, when my uncle showed me the pictures of our trip. The pictures were great.
So, what are the features of a Nikon D80 camera?
Memory – The D80 uses both SD and SDHC cards. What does that mean? The memory capacity of SD (standard cards) cards reaches 2GB. But with the SDHC (high capacity cards) cards your camera’s memory capacity can be as high as 32GB.
Modes – The Nikon D80 has various scene modes. I know that there are many people for whom the common scene mode is the basic one. But there is still another group of people, which is not small either, that uses different modes in different conditions (like Night Portrait, Night Landscape, Sports, Close-up, Landscape and Portrait).
Slideshows – You can even view a slideshow from within the D80 with the images that you take. Pretty handy.
Weight – You may look at the camera and think: ”Oh no, it’s very heavy, my hands will get tired after two hours of taking photos.” Believe me, I had the same concern and I wouldn’t buy it if it were heavy.
Just hold it in your hand for a second. It will be enough to feel that the Nikon D80 camera is quite light and easy to use.
Displays and views – The display is 2.5 inches, which means that you won’t have to squint your eyes when taking photos or adjusting the menu settings.
Buttons – Compared with Nikon D70, the D80 has a perfect arrangement of buttons. The difference will be indisputable if you try to take a photo with Nikon D70 and then with the D80.
Kit lens – The 18-55mm kit lens includes ED glass, digital specific design and a silent wave motor.
Like all the other cameras, the Nikon D80 has its own included Nikon accessories. The list of accessories include a rubber eyecup, USB cable, quick charger, video/audio cable, LCD monitor cover, a strap, a body cap and an eyepiece cap.
The prices of the these cameras start at $610 for the body only. With the 18-55mm lens, you’re looking at around $869.
